O'Connor House Tours

This annual event is the beginning of the Holiday Season for many people. The O'Connor home is a historic house just outside Homer, Nebraska. The house was built by Capt. Cornelius O'Conner for his family. It was began in 1875 and completed in 1879.

It was purchased by the Dakota County Historical Society. Each year the home is decorated for Christmas, and a host in each room tells you something special about the house, the people who once lived there, and the decorations.

An old one room school house also sits on the property, and is included in the tour.

Last, but not least, a huge steel building, housing antique equipment and displays.
